RAY Long 2000 mAh NiMH pencil batteries follow the emerging trend of a drastic improvement in the performance of nickel metal hydride batteries. They represent a reliable source for powering transmitters and receivers with guaranteed extremely low self-discharge.
Self-discharge process - residual capacity in% of the delivered charge (charging 0.1 C / discharging 1C).
- RAY Long Eneloop "Normal" NiMH
- 2 days 88.4% 90.1% 81.4%
- 4 days 85.2% 87.4% 74.6%
- 7 days 82.5% 83.5% 67.8%
- 14 days 74.2% 77.9% 50.3%
- 21 days 63.5% 66.2% 30.5%
- 28 days 58.4% 63.9% 12.9%
Note: Residual charge data is related to the value of the charge delivered during charging. Therefore, the indication of the residual charge after 2 days does not mean that in 2 days the batteries lost about 10% of the charge due to self-discharge, but apart from the small contribution of self-discharge it mainly shows the charging efficiency (typically around 90%).
